Just received an email newsletter from The SimExchange, which has announced a number of new events and elements with the world’s only Video Game tracking Stock Exchange. Details from the monthly email newsletter are listed below.
- Community LeaguesThe simExchange has launched leagues for your favorite web communities. The first three participating communities are NeoGAF, Evil Avatar, and Cheap Ass Gamer. To join a league, simply enter your NeoGAF, Evil Avatar, or Cheap Ass Gamer username into your profile on the simExchange. Once in a league, you can compare yourself with other members of your favorite web communities and see how your community matches up verse others. Check out the Evil Avatar League as an example.
- More lifetime sales stocksThe simExchange was founded on lifetime sales stocks, but we’ve introduced a number of new products to address forecasts the industry has been demanding. We know that our users love trading lifetime sales stocks and so we have been rolling more out–including heavy hitters like Mario Kart Wii. Be sure to bid on the games you want listed as stocks and submit the ones you don’t see on the simExchange already.
- Content sharing & Navigation We’ve improved content sharing by tweaking our algorithms for identifying the most valuable article, image, and video submissions. Features you’ve requested like removing your own submissions have been added. We’ve made navigation easier on the site in general.
- November 2007ixaarii was the top player in November, with a 110.28% return that unseats Just_Ben, the two time monthly leader. Check out the complete November 2007 rankings. NPD will be reporting sales data for November next Thursday, so remember to get your trades in for November NPD Futures before expiration day next Wednesday. We’ve also made it easier to navigate to past NPD results in the Research section.
As a member of The SimExchange, we enjoy the development of this Prediction Market and hope anybody who plays video games will hop over there and join up - it’s free and can be a lot of fun.
